Case Creation and Setup

Videos

There are different levels of administration on Everlaw. Organization administrators are on an annual contract and have special access to certain features. Database administrators have the ability to upload and delete documents on a database. They can also create projects and request deletion of a database. Project administrators control the project settings, the workspace where review work is performed and a case is built. Check out our videos on organization administration and database administration.

In order to use and access the upload features, you must be given 'upload' or 'admin' permissions under database settings. Once documents are successfully uploaded, they will be searchable and viewable in your project. Everlaw has a cloud-based uploading system that supports both native and processed data. Check out our videos on uploading native and processed data in Everlaw.

The project settings page can help you think about your goals and workflows when setting up your case. You can tailor your settings and permissions to anticipate your future workflow. Check out our videos on how to add and remove users to the project, determine what tools they have access to via group, and configure your case settings.

Assignments are a great option for batching out documents for review. Everlaw’s flexible assignment creation tool allows you to create static or dynamic/automated assignments, while providing you simple, yet comprehensive, ways to track and control assignment workflows. Check out our videos on how to create and administer assignments.
